Today we come to one of the most loved promises in the Bible, Romans 8:28. "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." This verse has helped people trust God through experiences that seemed utterly pointless and painful. People have held fast to the "all things" and believed the word of God – this too, this terrible thing, this seemingly pointless thing, will turn out for my good.
If you are facing something insurmountable in your life—such as a financial disaster, the loss of a family member, problems with a child, serious illness, invite God to do something in your situation that your mind can’t even conceive of. Keep praying, no matter how hopeless it seems, and don’t stop thanking God that He works out everything in your lives for good when you love and trust Him for your future.
Ok I’m gonna ask a question not to be cocky or insensitive but real and eye opening. Ladies (and gentlemen) think really hard about this question. This could make you change the way you operate your way of life etc.
So, how long before you go missing, will someone start looking for you? When I say missing, if someone were to take you or something sinister was to happen to you, how long would it take your family to realize something is wrong and get worried, concerned, suspicious etc.? I am a true crime junkie and I watch stories of people saying “oh she likes to be alone”. She likes to be off the grid for a few days.” And dont blink and eye. I’m like WHAT? Even some married couples don’t get worried after 9/10 hrs of not speaking/texting their spouse/kids etc. With the age of various methods of communication, I’m curious.
I know me, not answering my phone for an hour for my husband, police would be called.
Think about this for a moment.
How long would you have to be “gone” for a loved one to think something is wrong with you?

This is Jeffrey’s first publicly available mugshot and what I have found to be his first, he was charged with (or at least arrested for) disorderly conduct and and resisting arrest after verbally abusing staff at the Ramada Inn in Bath, Ohio, sources state he behaved in the way he did due to drunkenness, and it’s believed the quarrel(s) were over being denied more alcohol by a bartender. This is taken in the same city and around 2-3 years after the murder of his first victim, Steven Hicks, aged 19, while Jeffrey was 18.

This is Jeffrey’s second arrest on public record (possibly second ever). He was arrested at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, and was charged with disorderly conduct for public urination.
The details of when, why, and where this mugshot was taken are not publicly available, nothing is know about this photo other than it is a mugshot, which we all know, as it wouldn’t be listed here if it wasn’t. I’ve found in research that is very well could be from September 1986, when Dahmer was charged with indecent exposure and lewd and lascivious behavior for allegedly masturbating in public in front of two male children. Dahmer claimed he was urinating as opposed to masturbating, the truth known only to the accused and the accusers. Another possibility is it being snapped in a 1988 second degree sexual assault charge for the rape of 14-year-old, who’s name I cannot remember, possibly Jason or jaxton, please let me know if you can confirm a name. The victim was drugged and raped, but Dahmer was apparently polite afterwards, either paying the boy or handing money to the child that the victim had left behind. He was found guilty in 1989 and was given 1 year in a correctional facility and 5 years of parole, a punishment he would still be undergoing at the time of his be-all end-all arrest in July of 1991.

This is the most famous image of the notorious killer, the mugshot belonging to the be-all end-all arrest I spoke of immediately above this. Several officers were dispatched to unit 213 of The Oxford Apartment complex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after Tracy Edwards escaped, running to police. The Polaroids were discovered in his dresser drawer, and only at the sight of his most intimate, valued possession being made public did he resist. Neighbors recall the officers saying something along the lines of, “These are the real deal,” or, “This is the real shit,” in reference to the Polaroids. An altercation immediately broke out, and Dahmer resisted. While the neighbors stories conflict, all can agree on hearing one thing: a scream. Jeffrey’s pained scream as he gave up all hope, surrendering to weight of the world. In the mugshot, he appears to be intoxicated, drunk, possibly, given his history of alcoholism. The second mugshot, same outfit, just with glasses, was taken the next day, July 24th.

This is the mugshot taken the day of Jeff’s first court appearance, July 25th, 2-3 days after his initial arrest. The shirt he is wearing is white with blue stripes, a shirt actually belonging to the son of an officer, I believe, as Jeffrey had nothing to wear suitable for court. His first charge was 4 counts of intentional homicide and habitual criminality.

This shot was taken before J.D.’s trial for the murder of Steven Hicks back in 1978, previous mentioned in his first mugshot. He was extradited back to Bath, where he’d grown up and begun his drawn out spree. At this point he’d been slapped with 15 consecutive life sentences, his entry of a guilty plea earning him a 16th.

This was his mugshot for his entry into the Grafton, Ohio Lorain Correctional Institution, which he was placed in immediately after the Steven Hicks trial. He was then transferred to the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin, where he remained for just over 2 years, bludgeoned to death- beyond recognition- in the prisons locker room by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver jr on the 28th or November, 1994, an incident I will cover in detail in a following post.
